We're Pregnant...Again!! Say what!?!
So here are the questions everyone keeps asking before we dive into our first pregnancy blogs posts....
1) BUT hubs had a vasectomy!?
Yes that was the number one statement/question when announcing. And yes he did have a vasectomy in May.. This was asked so much we started sharing the info with the precursor, "so did you know not all vasectomies work?!" 🤣🤣
Following this question almost immediately is:
2) Did he not do the follow up appointment? Yes! My husband was responsible and did the follow up check and received the all clear results back in July.
3) Are you going to have the baby? Honestly this one was a bit jarring for me. Yes we will welcome any child we conceive into our home and love them without question!!
4) Can you have the baby despite your RRMS? simple answer.. yes absolutely. Longer answer is that for many with RRMS their symptoms go into remission when pregnant and can actually be great...sadly I am not one of those people. Mine was discovered thanks to the increase in hormones in my pregnancy with our 2nd son. That said my body is still fully capable of carrying children. My OB even joked that despite us saying we were done my body was just too made to carry babies to say no. 🤣
5) How close in ages will your babies be?
Our 1st to our 2nd is a 16 month age gap. Now knowing our exact induction date (more on that in those blogs) we know the gap between our 2nd pregnancy and this 3rd pregnancy will be 15 months.
6) You know how babies are made right? Okay this one is just funny. Yes of course we do and it is hysterical when people say it bit also because as I type this I am laughing about how my husband said after this pregnancy we are going to do a 5 step preventive plan. 😝
7) Well this was meant to be. You have 2 boys so are you hoping for a girl?
Initially I think I would've said no. Mostly because my husband is so strongly team boy and it would be easier to just add another boy to our mix. But I can't deny that after finding out we were expecting part of me was hoping for a girl to use our beloved girl name we have held onto for 4ish years. That said I would be thrilled for a boy too. I have been pestering my husband to come up with a third baby boy name ever since we found out we conceived anyway!
Keep an eye out as I start sharing our pregnancy journey posts!
Love you all and thank you for following us with another wonderful adventure!
