Symptoms: It is truly interesting comparing my second pregnancy to my first. It seemed to be so much easier the first time. I am fatigued, exhausted, muscles aching, etc. And I keep thinking man this pregnancy is so much harder than my first! Then I consider the differences. Chasing after a 13 month old toddler who knows how to get into everything and taught us how to open the child lock we couldn't even figure out as the parents has led to true exhaustion. I don't know if I would feel like this if I wasn't taking care of him, not that I would change it ever! Also when I did hurt or feel tired I just slept or rested with my first, now it's not an option until bedtime no matter what and the mornings must start before 9am despite my desperate wishes.

Weight: I have gained another pound at 7lbs total gained. I sometimes feel frustrated about weight gain but at the same time acknowledge this is quite minimal compared to some. And after losing 60lbs between the two I'm not super worried about weight gain anyway.

Trip Prep: We are travelling to see extended family next week and I am hard at work trying to figure out what all we need to pack. I can't imagine how intense it will be trying to pack for you and your big brother on trips...I already feel like I am packing everything...including the kitchen sink. heehee.

SNOW!: We had our first snow! I love snow. I am like the Lorelai Gilmore to snow on the first snow each year. Now I admit to falling out of love with snow each year as well but the first is my favorite. It truly feels so magical! So today I cuddled up with my new Harry Potter mug filled with nice warm hot cocoa and watched your big brother and daddy play. It was an amazing moment to sit back in. I can't wait to have you enjoy snow as well!

Speaking of my Gilmore girl heart I was able to make this order this week as well! Truly fantastic and I am pretty sure I am going to have to make a set for myself even!

Child Lock: Oh goodness Colin. If you are anything like your big brother we will have our hands very full (but our hearts too) for the years too come! Patrick taught us how to use this child lock since we had no idea how to open it or anything. He plays with it and walks over to daddy and pulls the lock piece and slides it. We definitely had a good laugh about that one.

Potty Exposure!: Final update on the big brother status also because I can't help but share about him as well. We did potty exposures this week! Mostly because he has started showing signs of potty readiness though we still don't want to push it too early. I was a "super proud mom" though when I put him on the potty and he peed the very first time. Hopefully you both are pretty good at doing it...sooner rather than later because that means less diapers for us. heehee.

Anyway brief post this week since I have to spend most evenings working or packing! We are so thrilled for this adventure!!
