Guilty: So I admit to feeling a little guilty about not writing a weekly check in this pregnancy for baby Colin like I did for Patrick so I may be compensating now by doing one weekly or biweekly I'm not sure but at least more regularly for him to be able to see one day as well!

Weight gain is still at the 5lbs mark. It fluctuates up or down 0.5-1lb depending on the day or time but generally the same.

Symptoms are funny because I feel like I keep thinking, "well the one really bad symptom is ____" but then it changes the next day. I still experience the carpal tunnel limb numbness randomly, migraines can be really intense some days, nausea happens terrible one day and not at all the next 3 so not a constant at least. My true constants are exhaustion partially probably due to terrible insomnia that I've never had before as well as well as a pain felt either in just my left side abdomen or all the way across. (When we go to the OB this month we will be telling her about that...if I can remember! 🤦‍♀️)

When I was 34 weeks pregnant with Patrick we had to go to the hospital because of a severe pain in my upper rib area. We were in L&D for nearly the entire night and ended up finding out it was false labor contractions even though it was so high. I was told to take it easy and not to lift too much. Well unfortunately that begun with this pregnancy at the end of this week. We plan on sharing with my OB when we go in but not sure what to do as "taking it easy" isn't as easy of an option as a sahm to nearly 13m old Patrick.

Colin the super soccer player! I remember being pregnant with Patrick and so surprised because counting kicks didn't exist. He was so very active it was like 30-40 kicks in the kick window. Well Colin has decided to prove that even less intense as he is constantly on the go in the womb. When I finally fall asleep I think he stops (or I'm just too tired to notice) but everytime I wake in the night to pee or turn over he starts a party all over again!

House Warming: This week we had a costume housewarming party at a friend's. We decided this year we would try to do 3 different costumes for our 3 things we had. So this first one I made a toga for big brother Patrick (look out for my DIY no sew cheap costumes post coming soon!). I had a dress I got from Greece 6 years ago that lucky us fit over this growing pregnant belly! Tomek also had his costume from when we dressed up as Zeus and Aphrodite in 2013!

I can't believe how much has changed since then but feel so very blessed!

We had a blast at the party and Patrick was quite a hit. I'm sure he and Colin will keep us on our toes!

The very next day we had costume round 2!! We had our friend's little 3 year old girl's Halloween costume party to attend! We are massive Harry Potter fans and so are they (though they also love LotR and wore those costumes this year). But we decided to naturally do an HP theme. So we went as Dobby (your brother Patrick was Dobby, though he isn't a huge fan of hats), and we of course were his servants!

A blast to say the least! Little dobby had a hay day eating marshmallow dada gave him...I'm sure Colin will get these early amazing food choices too heehee. He also picked Frankenstein's nose to get a yellow glow axe and felt the need to share everything with the other kids!

The rest of our week was pretty chill. Patrick kept momom and dada up Monday night so they were exhausted! Momom had auntie Sarah come over and visit for a while and a pretty chill week beyond that of just trying to get rest despite the insomnia.
