Pregnancy #2 39 Weeks

Symptoms: Honestly the same as last week go read that again if you really want to hear all those. Generally just waiting with the occasional contractions but nothing intense or steady enough for labor yet.

Last night I made 8 dozen cookies and your daddy took care of the mountain of boxes we had from ordering the stuff we needed for your arrival little Colin.

Today I moved the tiny crib into our room and got all of Patrick's clothes into a dresser so we can use his smaller plastic drawers as a dresser for you in our room temporarily. Now I just have to get your clothes into it and a changing table set up going for you and we will be ready. Of course after we clean out the van and put your carseat in there. 🤣 But I'm hoping to get that done tonight or tomorrow too just in case.

This evening we have a visitation for Momma Anne and her funeral tomorrow right after our OB appt. I still haven't really felt like I can process her not being here when you come or in general.

Saturday we are definitely utilizing doing any and all baby stuff that isn't done yet...because seriously we should have had this done already! Heehee.

Sunday is our 40 weeks...and your due date. I think if we aren't going into labor that day we will be hanging out with some friends and just relaxing the best we can knowing soon...very soon we will have two little guys under 1 and a half years old ruling our home!

Personally I'm hoping we make it to that actually. I think for me there is something mentally about wanting to carry for the full 40 week period like then I feel as if I have completed the full pregnancy process. Maybe because of this is why both you and Patrick have held out to birth until after that. Either way we will see when you arrive and are excited for whenever you do.
