One of my readers suggested I write about my crazy husband..Now I still will write about other things that readers have suggested...no worries...this was just my first one. :) My Crazy Husband.... So there are many sayings, "birds of a feather flock together or that opposites attract" My husband and I obviously have some things in common: we both care about animals, played soccer, are full of faith and family love, but we definitely have our differences. I am sure I am not the first woman to say sometimes my husband drives me crazy. I love him so much, we have been together for 4.5 years now, and I couldn't imagine life without him. Just because someone drives you crazy at times doesn't make them any less of the person you want to spend forever with. My in-laws have always said something that I find true to this day with my husband and I, "We each found the one person we want to annoy for the rest of our lives." Isn't that the truth though? You'll drive each other crazy, mad at times but as long as you kiss each other g'night at the end of the day you remain the love of each other's lives. What about my husband makes him crazy? It is so hard to say. There are different things our husbands do that can just irritate you like shaving and not cleaning the mess, leaving dishes on the table instead of walking them to the sink, etc. But the truth is most the time I call my husband crazy I don't mean in in a irritating way. I think my husband is crazy because he does things I couldn't imagine doing, or even just the fact that he is so spontaneous and I am not...I tend to be more OCD about things and wanting to plan the details before just going and doing something. Even in the small sense I would make plans for a dinner with family but my husband talks to my family and has them down the same day for dinner to surprise me. I love his crazy quirkiness and am so blessed to have him and his crazy family in my life. Also because I am with this man I have done things I NEVER would have imagined doing because he made me feel as though it was possible. For example, I now scuba dive, have pet a shark, eat more things than I would have ever tried when I was younger (although this one is hard to believe because I still can't eat much due to my allergies but I try!), enjoy some Chinese food, have traveled out of the country...multiple times, and so much more. If it weren't for my husband there beside me telling me I could do something or to "just try it if you don't like it you don't have to do it again" I wouldn't be who I am today. Many say that I have changed my husband for the better...and that is possibly quite true but few realize how much he has changed me to be a stronger, independent woman (yep you can get married and still be independent!), and to believe in myself more than I ever have. So, yes my husband might be crazy but I wouldn't want to change any of his craziness because it is what makes him who he is but also what has helped me to be who I am as well!
