A Fresh Start & Frustrations

I have been blogging and sharing our little families stories since 2014. I loved our old website but it was my website, just my name, not my families site. So we decided to start a new.

This was so exciting for me but I have to admit something that is frustrating now. I saved all my blogs from our previous site. We had thousands of visitors and followers to our blogs. Now backdating and posting them all here shows a view counter. One that is quite inaccurate and non-reflective of our true work and following before.

It's so exciting to have our family site but it's also full of the anxiety looking at that stupid view counter. Seeing that yes we are getting traffic but many blogs now say 0-3 views. How does that look on me as a writer? On our website?

So hopefully our readers will get to this site and give our new format a chance and disregard the view counter that I am truly hoping to get rid of.
